ABOUT
--------
Original piece is micron on paper, 18"x24".

This is the first installment in a series of twelve mandalas that will each represent a month of the year.

January is the first month and symbolizes a gateway into the new year. In the center, radiating from a pot of fire are 4 riders of the apocalypse in skeleton form representing the end of something and the beginning of another. Other elements of the drawing are cultural symbols of January from around the world, such as the two camellia flowers rising out of volcanoes (camellias are the Japanese national emblem of January.)

Print will be shipped rolled and plastic-wrapped, in shipping tube. Estimated shipping time is 2-3 weeks from time of order placement.
